Recently A tunnel was dug, An Indian Oil pipeline punctured to pilfer petrol by small time businessman.

This raises the question mark of safety and Security system of pipelines. A Spark near could have destroyed entire pipeline..

Though the monitering is always taken care through SCADA , DCS and other GPS devices.

But when we talk about product loss while dispatching product....  80 thousand liter is never considered loss when you are transferring 1000 to 2000 KL.... compare to loss of 80, 000 L which is just 80 KL
